Over the years, we’ve had really deep conversations, and I knew these two would be fascinating guests. But they totally exceeded expectations! From Winfred riffing on his Uncle Anderson, to Lael talking truth about giving dap in the halls of power, this was such a great talk. You can really feel the deep friendship between these guys.
Part 1
In part two of our conversation with La’el and Winfred, we interrogate giving dap in the public and the private sector, in Ferragamos and in Jordans, and sincerely and insincerely. After an hour of debate, we arrived at two truths: code-switching can be exhausting, fake dap is the worst, but to keep the peace, you have to be able to deploy both as needed.
