I am from DC; born and bred. I grew up in Southeast or on the soufside, however you want to call it but specifically, right on MLK Ave. I received all my knowledge from DCPS before receiving a formal education from Duke Ellington School of the Arts where I took my hobby, Art, and transformed it into a practice. Upon completing DESA I attained a degree in Fine Art from American University where I minored in Marking with a focus on branding. 

 

I have worn many hats and donned many suits in my young but ever maturing life. But, Art has always been the constant. I took my skills from cartoons to contracts and have been working professionally as a graphic designer for well over 10 years. You name it, I do it but these days I prefer working business to business, it's my preference.

 

It was a pleasure to work with The Dap Project. Rhonda and Aaron are super dope, solid folks and I can't wait to see this platform grow and expand the narrative of our collective black experience.
