MALACHI AND JASON
"THEY WERE AN ASSERTION OF THE IDEA THAT WE ARE GOING TO THRIVE IN THIS SPACE"
The conversation with friends Jason and Malachi, both recently of Princeton University, was an unexpected gift to the Dap Project. Malachi is a friend of Aaron’s niece who dropped a poetic response to our survey, and we knew we had to talk with him. With as much laughter as conviction, the pair invite us into their experience at the storied institution, “where giving dap felt like a revolutionary act,” and they “made the decision to not be minimized.” We also hear what Jason said to Malachi that radically changed his perception of what black men can do to change the world.
