Carole Hopson is a trailblazing pilot, author, and advocate whose career and storytelling celebrate the power of perseverance and possibility. A Boeing 737 Captain for United Airlines, Carole is the author of the acclaimed historical novel A Pair of Wings, inspired by the life of pioneering aviator Bessie Coleman. Through her writing and public speaking, she shines a light on those who broke barriers and forged new paths. As founder of the Jet Black Foundation, Carole is working to send 100 Black women to flight school by 2035, creating opportunities for the next generation of aviators. Her participation in The DAP Project reflects a lifelong commitment to expanding horizons and inspiring others to discover their own pair of wings.
