Cleidir C. Alves is a Cape Air pilot originally from Cape Verde whose journey reflects the spirit of connection and exploration that defines Martha’s Vineyard. After meeting following a flight from Boston to the Vineyard, Cleidir was immediately drawn to The DAP Project and its mission to explore identity, belonging, and freedom through portraiture and storytelling. His participation brings a global perspective to the exhibit, highlighting the diverse paths and experiences that enrich the Vineyard community.
